>> INSTALLATION

[REQUIREMENTS]

  • USB drive (8GB minimum, 16GB recommended)
  • Another computer or USB for initial download
  • 64-bit processor (most modern computers)

[STEP 1] DOWNLOAD

Download from tails.net - verify the signature!

[STEP 2] CREATE USB

Use balenaEtcher or Tails Installer to write the image to USB.

[STEP 3] BOOT

Restart computer, enter BIOS/Boot menu (F12, F2, ESC), select USB drive.

Tails can optionally save encrypted data between sessions:
